Simone has worked as a children's photographer in Adelaide for over 10 years, photographing hundreds of families and watching their beautiful babies grow!

 Simone's ability to make a woman feel cherished and beautiful during a pregnancy sitting, her gentle touch with newborns, and her connection with children of all ages has seen her win hearts and enchant parents with timeless and poignant images of their family.

Philosophy

My philosophy is simple. Your story, plus my vision to create incredible portraits. I really resonate with all that it means to be a parent. The good, not so good, and sleepless nights. I have loved it all (really!) and I just love getting to know a family and capturing the moments and milestones that hold the most meaning.

Your sitting will be tailored to you, with the location, timing and special requests all taken into account. The best images come from when clients let me see their bond with their children and the little things that make your family unique. To help you choose your photographs I come to your home to help you plan how you will display your portraits. I have so many years of experience, access to all of the beautiful professional display options on offer and a passion for interior design so you can rest assured that you hang the right photograph in the right space.

Your photographs will be printed with care, transformed into beautiful heirloom albums and wall art and will stand the test of time so that your grandchildren will one day cherish them too.  It's my hope that portraits will make you smile and sigh every time you walk past them, and your children will be fighting you for them when they leave home! These photographs will be a beautiful reminder of their childhood.

Commissions are taken with the explicit understanding that copyright is retained by Simone Hanckel on all imagery created at your sitting. Copyright encompasses the right to reproduce, scan, digitise, or copy in any fashion.

Commission Fees begin at $275 Prints begin at $110.
