Fifteen years ago, pretty much to the minute, I took this photo of my oldest son. On this morning the day before he turned 5, I was walking past his room early in the morning and saw the sun across his face like this, highlighting the last of the baby pout, round cheeks and glorious eyelashes. I ran for my camera, thankful it had film in it, and shot two frames before he woke up with the noise of the shutter. This photo has been one of my most treasured possessions 💕 Today this boy is about to turn 20, this is his last day being a teenager (!) and this photo means even more today than it did then. As photos tend to do 😊
