I had the chance to explore an amazing new location, and meet two beautiful girls. The day hadn't gone well for me, with one disaster after another, but once we got started my luck turned. The location was amazing, and at almost every turn they exclaimed 'It looks like the Bridge to Teribithia!'. It all felt really magical, and I think the images reflect it. Here are Kate, Anna and the very cute Ruby,

Thanks so much girls :o) xo Simone
who were so patient throughout today's shoot of their darling new little boy, Finley (hope I spelled that right!). Finley was having a bad day, as newborns can do, and the shoot was long and tiring for everyone I'm sure, but I really love the ones I did get. I may be bringing that camera back for a family shot though...that was where Finn came undone, but how gorgeous is he....awww....

Thanks again guys :o) I'll see you next Monday!

because I'm talked out this week! Some very exciting news coming, but can't go into it yet, so stay tuned! These are some faves from the last week, with a few of my boys sprinkled in there. School holidays have been a blessing, we needed a break :o)
The gorgeous Abbey...and my official return to the beach. It's beautiful down there!

and Audrey the delicious...

and my boys...I can't get over how grown up Morgan is looking..

Back soon, hopefully with something I can tell!!

This is Remy, and he was around a week old when I photographed him. I remember meeting his Mum and Dad at the Expo in March and was stoked that they rang me to do their pregnancy and newborn photos. I love being part of this time for new parents :o)
Remy was an angel, alert when we wanted him to be, sleepy when it counted, and although he managed to poo all over the laundry floor, we forgave him considering the shot we got just in time.

Isn't he beautiful? Thanks again Mike and Heidi :o)

with my latest favourite. This is Mya, four weeks old, and such a sweetie. She was incredibly tired, wee-ed all over the mini-mink, but did such a good job for the camera before conking out in Dad's arms. This is my favourite shot :) Love the little wrinkly bits!
he layout of Mya's pic is an example of a 'fine art print'. The idea being that one beautiful 'stand alone' image can work as a piece of art for your walls. These look amazing as a print by itself which can be a feature, or perhaps end up in the baby's room, or in a series of three down a hall or over a mantle. The beauty of the fine art print is that they can be moved around, added to over time, used as an ongoing series over the family's life etc. It's a look that doesn't work for every image, but when it does, it's striking :)
Cheers Simone

Looooove these... Hey Giselle, Ray and Anjali :)

Thanks for looking, and make sure you head to the Pregnancy, Babies and Children's Expo March 16, 17 and 18 to see some more! I look forward to seeing you all then :o)
